Compulsory Basic Training (CBT)

Service Description

You must have current experience of riding a push bike and have knowledge of the highway code, and basic roadcraft skills. Compulsory basic training (CBT) is a course you usually have to take before you ride a moped or motorcycle on the road. After you’ve completed CBT, you can ride a motorcycle up to 125cc and with a power output of up to 11kW if you’re 17 or over You must display L plates (L or D plates in Wales) on the front and rear of your motorcycle. You must pass your full moped or motorcycle test within 2 years, or you have to either take CBT again or stop riding. To reserve a course we do ask for a 30% deposit to be paid. Payment: We accept the following methods of payment: Bank Transfer, Cash or Online Card Payment. This booking system is set to either full amount by card or other method. If you would like to pay just your 30% deposit, please select other method and we will send an invoice over to you.
