Direct Access - A & A2 - 4 day

Service Description

This course is for those that have completed a CBT, but have not ridden since, or would like more on a 125cc before progressing to a 650cc motorcycle. AGE 24 AND OVER: If you are aged 24 or over at the date of your test, you can get an unrestricted motorcycle licence by taking a Direct Access (DAS) course and passing the practical tests with DVSA. A full bike licence entitling you to ride any size of machine is gained through this course. You MUST hold a valid motorcycle theory test certificate prior to your training course commencing. AGE 19-24: If you are under the age of 24 years old at the date of your test, you can get a restricted (not exceeding 35kW) motorcycle licence by taking a Direct Access (DAS) course and passing the practical tests with DVSA. You MUST hold a valid motorcycle theory test certificate and a valid CBT certificate prior to your training course commencing. All DAS training is conducted using our 2020 Suzuki SV650 motorcycle. When booking you will select the start date of your course, which will be for the CBT. All course and test dates will be provided before your course starting. The DVSA test days will be on a Monday to Friday date, and over a two week period. The reason for this is to ensure there is no lost test/course fees should we not get the result we would like and we need to reschedule any remaining course. Training will be conducted as follows: Day 1 - Road skills training on our 125cc motorcycle - working on road craft and skills and just doing miles to work on confidence on a motorcycle (minimum 5 hours) Day 2 - Introductory to 650cc motorcycle and Modular 1 test training. (minimum 5 hours) Day 3 - Modular 1 test at a DVSA test centre, and Modular 2 road training. (minimum 5 hours) Day 4 - Modular 2 road training, and Modular 2 test at a DVSA test centre. (minimum 4 hours) To reserve a course we do ask for a 30% deposit to be paid. Payment: We accept the following methods of payment: Bank Transfer, Cash or Online Card Payment. This booking system is set to either full amount by card or other method. If you would like to pay just your 30% deposit, please select other method and we will send an invoice over to you.
